Canadian pop star Anjulie recently dropped an electrified cover of The Pretenders’ 1980 hit “Brass In Pocket (I’m Special),” flipped and called “Give It To Me.” Updated with throbbing dance beats and spaced-out 80′s synths, the rework is a sugary, melodic banger with just the right pinch of nostalgia.
